What is HBCU Diversity Talent Sourcing Program?
The HBCU Talent Sourcing Program is a year round recruiting program for companies and government
agencies that need talent sourcing for a diverse workforce.

How is the program different from TMCF Leadership Institute?

Both programs provide employers with access to a select group of student candidates from HBCUs. The
HBCU Talent Sourcing Program is a recruitment program designed to connect prospective employers
with students who are prepared to enter the work force immediately, while the Leadership Institute is
designed to provide soft-skills training and recruitment opportunities to talented students. Companies have
the opportunity to teach the leadership curriculum; interacts with students from the 47 campuses; and
supports the students’ leadership development by teaching them valuable corporate readiness skills.

The TMCF Talent Sourcing Program will:

TMCF has more than 20 years of experience in identifying talented students from the 47 universities.

What is the selection criterion?
Candidates must be recommended by their university president or faculty members. Candidates are
juniors and seniors with an average GPA of 3.58. A successful recruit possesses:
• Excellent oral written and communication skills;
• Prior apprentice or employment experience;
• Dedication, hard work and commitment to realize their career pursuits;
• Tenacity and triumphant over obstacles/barriers;
• Adapt to new environments; and
• Leadership qualities and team values.

Does TMCF have experience recruiting diverse talent?

With more than 6,000 scholars who have graduated with an average GPA of 3.58 and 1500
Leadership Institute Alumni, TMCF is a leader in identifying and supporting the development of top
talent at HBUs.

What is the fee-for-service and where does it go?
TMCF is a not-for-profit organization. Fees go to cover the cost of the program and to support the
