TMCF's NAC is a national body that advises the Thurgood Marshall College Fund's board and staff on issues, program recommendations and policies affecting public Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
The Mission of TMCF's NAC
To increase alumni personal giving and support of public HBCUs by providing training in funding and advocacy. To further heighten awareness of the TMCF mission and role throughout the public HBCU alumni network.
Programs of TMCF's NAC
- Annual Awards to recognize alumni associations, who have demonstrated leadership in supporting their colleges and universities, alumni giving and new chapter development.
- Annual training sessions for University Chapter Presidents and National Officers.
- HBCU Alumni Day on the Hill in Washington, DC, with legislative representatives to advocate for all public HBCUs.
