A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dwayne Ashley

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) is pleased to launch its newly developed Financial Aid Website. This site, which reflects a component of TMCF’s broader strategic focus to develop a TMCF contained web environment that is appealing, informative, educational and a resource to students, parents, and the community at large who are interested in exploring the rich world of Historically Black College and Universities (HBCUs).

The Financial Aid site has been designed to promote Financial Aid Literacy and to serve as a guide to Financial Aid Officers to locate and identify resources as well as provide pertinent information for parents and students. This user friendly site is linked to other key websites to provide an expanded search for information and is the only site of its kind specifically geared toward students of color.

The role of this site is to improve access to information and resources in an all inclusive technology driven environment. The enormous impact that will come from this resource in the public HBCU realm and the student population attending them will be monumental. TMCF is pleased to have taken on the challenge of developing such a site as this and would like to thank all those who have helped lead to its successful launch.

We hope that the information gained on this site will provide you with greater understanding and access to Financial Aid and the opportunities to fund an education. Thank you for visiting.

Sincerely,

Dwayne Ashley
President & CEO
Thurgood Marshall College Fund
